Valeria florez

Valeria is a Peruvian Clinical Psychologist. She did the MSc Global Mental Health at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and King's College London. She is currently a consultant at MHPSS.net.

 

She has previous experience in mental health policy; sexual and reproductive health policy and access to health services; gender equality, prevention of violence against women and protection of sexual and reproductive rights of women; and health promotion.

 

Valeria is interested in mental health, substance use and disability policies and in the reduction of the treatment gap to facilitate access to the provision of quality mental health care. She is also interested in the impact of conflicts, disasters and poverty on mental health, especially in vulnerable populations.
